An Introduction to the Guide with Desert Pictures

The Southern Cross University Garden Community Garden is an important social resource. The garden is a place for horticulture therapy and food production. As our climate becomes more extreme, we should support community gardens for regenerative agriculture experimentation and food systems adaptation. 

Community gardens support healthy social relationships between communities of plants, people and animals.  Like how this southern boxthorn (lycium intracatum) supports nomad livelihoods with their camels and goats. Our guide intends to support community gardens flourish across the world, wherever they are. To grow fresh fruits, vegetables and caring relationships.
